I have not had any problems loading the page and I have tried it using Internet Explorer, Fire Fox and Opera and it loads right away,  but it has been brought to my attention that at least 2 people are having trouble with the site loading…..If there is 2, there is probably more.

One cannot load it at all on his Mac and another reports the page taking around a minute to load.

Could you please respond to his post “New PD Performance” if you are experiencing any page loading problems or any problems at all?

I would really appreciate it so I can get it fixed….I don’t want anyone to have problems reaching the site…..Thanks

I am sure most of you have found this out by now, but just want to show for those who have not….

When looking at the classified ads page near the top it shows all the links to “Place Ad” “Edit Ad” “Browse Ads” etc…..and just below that is a “Select Category” drop window. By clicking on the down arrow, a list of categories will show up and by clicking on say….”Tractors” and then clicking on the “Change Category” button to the right will allow you to view all the tractor classified ads. When you want to go back to looking at all the ads together, you can either click the “back” button or click on “General” Category in the drop down menu.

Also, there is another drop down window that will have the number “10″ in the window. By clicking on the down arrow it will allow you to select, for example: “50″ and by clicking that number, it will allow you to see 50 ads per page now, instead of 10 ads per page and having to switch pages to view all the ads.

Just an update that the email features within the Classified Ad section are now working.

What does this mean? Every time you post a new ad you will receive an automated email containing a direct link to your ad, along with an access key that you will need, if you should decide or want to edit your ad.

Also, when viewing any ad, you will see a colored  link just below the Title of the Ad that says,  ”Contact Fred”  as an example.  When clicking on this, a window will pop up which, will allow you, the reader, to email the person directly about the seller’s ad…..You don’t have to go to your email to contact the person about the ad.  Kind of a handy feature…

There is one slight bug that we have to fix yet that is giving us trouble….Inside the email you receive from the potential buyer, who is contacting you….Within his contact info you will find that the word “to” is in front of the potential buyers email address….For example:  topullingdepot@gmail.com

I am sure it is something we can fix, but just haven’t been able to track it down yet, but will work on it.

Also, you should now be able to upload about any size photo that you would like for your classified ad.  If you still have a photo that is too large to upload, please email it to me and I will put it up.
