Traction Control
Interstate Trucks:Â Don’t go out and buy any form of traction control for your trucks as it is probably going to be determined as illegal. I just gave Danny the information that possibly it is being run by one of the 6200 lb trucks. If you put it on and it is determined as not legal you will be wasting a few thousand dollars.

The weight box or the lowest part of the front weights must be at least 10 inches off the ground when the truck is weighted up and approaches the scales. Rollers on bottom of weight box, if you use them,  must also be 10 inches off ground when weighted up. This rule will be enforced in the 6200 lb, 6500 lb and the 6800 lb truck classes. The weights are dragging when the truck goes onto the scales at some pulls. This has been in the rules of these 3 classes but has not been enforced. Since there was no easy way to tech the trucks with the weights on, at the Warren Co. inspection this spring, you will be allowed your next pull as you are but the next pull you will not be allowed to pull until your weights are the correct height.
All pullers in the 6500 lb. 4×4 truck class, who are running questionable rears, must have proof that their rears were made for a 1 ton truck or lighter. You will have until July 1st to either change your rears or come up with the proof. This also applies to transfer cases. What you do inside your transfer case or rear is you own business but the case and axle tubes must be from a one ton or lighter truck. The case that houses your differential cannot be cut out for a larger differential. If you can get a larger one in it without cutting it, go for it. Axle housing tubes may be shortened at the outer ends.

The pullers in the 6200, 6500, and 6800 lb classes that did not show up for tech at the Warren Co. Fairgrounds need to contact me, (Dave Bush) for information on what to do to get teched. Phone 304-725-4386 (Home) or 304-725-5113 (Work) 304-261-7336 (Cell). I will put you in touch with the person who can tech you. My cell doesn’t work very well at work so try one of the other numbers. This tech must be done before the first pull; not on the pull day. If your truck is not teched with safety sticker, you will not pull for points or money or at all.

On the right side of the Interstate tentative schedule, I have added phone numbers for emergency contact under (Contact DOP). I need to know a contact number, preferably someone in the sign up booth or someone who can get the information to the sign up booth. This is in case you can’t make it to the pull on time due to an emergency. Please e-mail me at davidrbush@comcast.net or through the website.
I am trying to have all the updates to the schedule by the Keysone Nationals. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

Note the new class of Semis. The tentative rules have been posted. This will most likely be a points class as long as the insurance company accepts the rules. There may be some changes. Contact the Olden family if you have questions.
There is a change to the 6200 lb. 4×4 rules. It is a safety issue. The steering pump can be changed from the stock one to an electric pump. Last year an axle broke and the strain caused the power steering pump belt to brake. The truck was uncontrolable. This is not mandatory but is permitted. Rule 20 has been changed to reflect the change.
The 11000 Pro Farm class rules have been updated in RED.
