Correction in rules for the 6,200 Super Stock F.W.D. (485 cubic inch) truck class, the head rules were written incorrectly, Instead of “O.E.M. heads ONLY”, the rules should have read “ANY CAST IRON HEAD”, Aftermarket heads allowed. Sorry for the confusion, if anyone would still like to enter, the entry fee will be $125, NO LATE FEES WILL APPLY. Just let me know. Thanks Klint

Modified tractors at Regional level that run Hemi engines are limited to 37% blower overdrive. This is for a test period of the 2010 season and will be reviewed in September of 2010 for the 2011 season.

Western Farm show held this weekend in the American Royal Center in Kansas City. Chad Mowery’s Hanging with the Wrong Crowd Pro 4×4 and Rodney Davidson’s Red Iron Super Farm were displayed with truck and tractor pulling fans visiting from throughout the Midwest.

We are still taking applications for the 2010 Southern Illinois Shoot Out. This Saturday will be the cut off for SMOKE weekend and next Saturday will be the cut off for the NOISE weekend. Tickets are now available for Southern Illinois Shoot Out. Tickets can be purchased locally at D-R Pulling Parts-Hoyleton, Illinois and from the Mt. Vernon, Illinois FFA chapter. Trackside reserve seating is also available.

The Illiana Pullers Association will be holding their Banquet and General Meeting on Saturday March 13th at The Linden Banquet Center in Rantoul, IL starting at 1pm.

Anyone interested in learning more about the group and their classes are welcome to attend. Invitations are mailing out today to 2009 members.
