Falmouth, Kentucky is the Next Stop for the Battle of the Bluegrass
The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is headed to the Pendleton County Fairgrounds in Falmouth, KY. this Saturday, May 19. The pull is a fund raiser for the Pendleton County Recreation Commission. “Falmouth always draws great crowds and this is our first pull this season in Northern Kentucky, so I hope all the fans and pullers will come out to support this event,” said BOB Series President Kevin Fulks.

Thank you to all that come out to the Lafayette, TN pull last night. We gave it our best shot, mother nature just was not on our side! The 6000 LLS was the only class that got to run below is how they finished.

Battle of the Bluegrass Heads to LaGrange, Kentucky
The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is headed to LaGrange, Kentucky this weekend, May 12, 2012. “LaGrange is known for being one the best tracks in the state, and we are really anxious to get some pulling in.” said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “LaGrange has a long history of good pulling, and the BOB Series will continue that legacy this weekend.” Commented McConnell.

Tractor-pulling enthusiast Gerry Scott said a friend once told him that tractor pulling is “a disease with no known cure.”
After 37 years of involvement in the Badger State Tractor Pullers, Scott said he believes his friend might have been right.
Founding members of the Badger State Tractor Pullers were inducted into the newly formed BSTP Hall of Fame Dec. 3. Members include, from left, Dave Neff, Grant Loy, Dale Rupp, Dennis Phillips, Gerry Scott, Judy Riley, Jim Whalen, Sherry Whalen, Dennis Jelle and Dorinda Jelle.

Richmond Pull to be a Fundraiser for Habitat For Humanity
The Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series (BOB Series) is proud to announce that our May 5th event in Richmond, KY will be a fund raiser for Habitat for Humanity. “We are very excited about work with this organization. A lot of people in this area are in need of housing, and Habitat for Humanity is taking care of these needs.” Said BOB Series CEO Tom McConnell. “Proceeds will go to benefit those in need and this is a great way to give back to the community.” Commented McConnell.

Ken/Ten Tractor & Truck Pulling News
Attention all Ken/Ten Pullers!!!! WE are ASKING everyone to go ahead and pre-register for the 2012 Ken/Ten season so that you have your 2012 badges to get into the Trenton Teapot festival. They will not honor the 2011 Ken/Ten Badges. This will also help Lisa at the Trenton Pull. She will mail out your badges as soon as she receives your registration.

2012 dues are $175 by the first pull and $200 after that time. Any additional drivers and one time hooks are $50.If you do not pay your dues until the day of the first pull, you will be responsible for paying the pit fee entrance at the gate. I will be sending the punch cards out prior to the first pull to those that have paid the dues. Thank you!
