The State Banquet for 2011 has been set for Saturday January 28th, 2012 at Wildwood Lodge 8511 Hudson Boulevard Lake Elmo, MN 55042. Reservations for rooms must be made by January 1st. You can make your reservations by calling 866.294.6250 (call for directions) mention you are with United Pullers of Minnesota to get the block rate of $89 a night for rooms with a king bed or 2 queen size beds. Upgrades and poolside rooms are available for more (not included in the block) you will need to call for price on those. Reservations for meals are as follows $28.00 per meal – Kids 10 and under $13.00 by January 1st.

Region 3 & 5 will be held that night and United Pullers of Iowa along with the Midsummer Shoot Out.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

Friday, January 27th

7:00 pm Tech and Entry School

Saturday, January 28th

8:00 am UPM State Board Meeting

9:30am – 11:00am Morning State Meeting all UPM members to attend

11:00 am – 12pm UPI State meeting

The restaurant will be open for lunch

1:00pm – 3:00pm Afternoon State Meeting all UPM members to attend

Region 3 and 5 meeting will be after the state meeting

Promoters are welcome to attend the afternoon meeting and bring up issues etc. to be discussed.

Social Hour 5:30pm

Banquet 6:30pm

Hospitality Room to be opened following the banquet.

Enclosed are meal reservation and membership forms. You will receive one free meal for each competing membership purchased if done so by January 1, 2012. Please return these forms as soon as possible and make your room reservations by January 1, 2012. No refunds after January 1st. WILL NOT be able to get meals that night as seating is limited. November Full Board Meeting Highlights

Congratulations to Dan Hastings and David Pearce

on their re-election to the executive board.

Agenda Items that were passed to go into effect for 2012

1. Raise the C level purse to $3,000

2. Super Stock Division: Allow 19″ drawbar height for 505

and smaller cubic inch push rod aftermarket head motors.

3. Super Stock Division: Allow diesel powered tractors to

run 8600 lbs snd 20 inch hitch.

4. SMFWD: Blown trucks to run 27″ hitch and weigh 6500 lbs.,

naturally aspirated trucks to run 29″ hitch and weigh 7000 lbs.

Rule in effect for 2012 season only and be re-evaluated

at end of season.
